Stilo Verbacom Pit To Car Communication System

This Verbacom kit provides a (cheap) car-to-pit communications system based on a GSM system, so no external radios or radio licenses are required. 2 own GSM devices.

 The in-car system is fully automated and is

operated when the driver speaks, so no PTT (push to talk) buttons are required. The unit weighs just 150g and is small enough to mount anywhere in the car. The unit plugs directly into the communication port of a Stilo helmet with a cable. The microphones are noise-canceling and the pit headsets include a PTT (push-to-talk) function so that the driver only hears when the pit crew is speaking to them.

 During a race, the two phones are connected via one

normal phone call, where each user is connected via a

Bluetooth connection to both the pit crew headset and the connection module

for the driver's helmet. Connection is indicated by a light on

the device.

Unlike radio systems, the Verbacom can be used anywhere

provide coverage around a race track and doesn't need fancy signal boosters or large radio masts to get coverage. It is fully automated and once a call is established it automatically reconnects if a call is lost, without any intervention from the driver or pit crew.

The basic system consists of:

• Pit Crew headset with PTT (push-to-talk) button and

noise canceling microphones

• Noise canceling and voice activated rider connection module

and cables

• USB charging cable for car and 220 volt charger for pits

headset included.
