The FDS compound is specifically designed for road use. It combines many features found in pure racing materials (high friction, absence of fading) but provides improved performance at cold temperatures and reduced disc wear and noise.

The key features of DS Performance are:

• High friction coefficient (average 0.46)*


• Excellent disc life


• Low wheel dust


• Racing "feel"


• Low heat transfer to the caliper, avoiding fluid boiling

DS Performance is recommended for road use only and complies with R90 standards (EU standard for road brake pads).

• This is the average friction coefficient from a highway test schedule; it would be lower in a test schedule representative of racing applications.
